I fell in love with her voice at a very young age. I was around 8 or 9 years old. Her voice hasn't changed it still as beautiful as now as it was back then. A wonderful singer.

Checking in on Billy Joe's day. The song takes me back to an innocent time, when I didn't understand the subtext. Beautifully haunting song.

This a really great performance. I was a huge fan of Joni's music from the 1960's thru about 1974 or '75. About that time, her albums were becoming more and more jazz influenced, jazzy arrangements, with each subsequent album and I just never got into the jazzy styles she was involved with at that time. I understand that Joni's life was changing and she was happy with the jazz material that had become her genre of choice. But for me...I just never got into the jazz music that was the forefront of her repertoire. I loved the folk stuff the most.
